2024 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Pros

Spacious Cabin & Comfortable Seats

Brezza has always been appreciated for its practical yet comfortable cabin. The new-gen model carries the same USP and also boasts better, well-cushioned seats that offer improved seating comfort. The front seats are the most comfortable among the segment rivals. The rear seats too offer decent width for three passengers to sit abreast. The amount of space and practical storage spaces in the cabin make the Brezza one practical SUV.

Well-tuned Suspension

Another typical trait of a Maruti car is evident in the Brezza i.e. a well-tuned and comfortable suspension. The ride quality of Brezza is among the best, if not the best. This Maruti SUV remains planted on most of the broken roads and undulated surfaces. Even through the sharp potholes, its suspension largely restricts the vertical movements. Additionally, the highway ride quality is also stable and provides confidence to the driver to push it.

Fuel Efficient & Reliable Engine

Maruti offers a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine on the Brezza. Unlike the old-gen model, it doesn’t get the option of a diesel powertrain. This engine is very reliable and extremely frugal. The fuel economy of Brezza is more than its rivals as it comes with the options of a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT gearbox options. Moreover, Maruti also offers a CNG powertrain on the Brezza which is well-known for its extremely good economy. The 1.5-litre engine is easy to repair and it rarely encounters breakdowns.

Feature-Packed Cabin

Maruti has packed the new Brezza with all the modern bells and whistles when it comes to features. The new 2024 Maruti Brezza features include an electric sunroof, wireless charging, and HUD in addition to other features like cruise control, a 9-inch floating infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto & Arkamys sound system. These features, although available mostly on the top variants, come in very handy in everyday use.

Widespread Sales & Service Network

Buying a Maruti car has its own perks and the widespread service network is one of them. While the Brezza is a reliable car, it can easily be fixed pan India even if it breakdowns, because of the huge service network of Maruti. Moreover, the Maruti Brezza spare parts are not only affordable but are widely available across the country.

Maruti Brezza Cons

Limited Boot Space

The 328-litre of boot space of Brezza is among the lowest in its segment. Because its cabin is well-suited for 5 adults, the limited boot makes the long travel plans difficult. Moreover, a limited boot space can not be ignored as the Brezza’s higher versions cost similar to other mid-size SUVs that offer a significantly larger boot space.

Not Fun To Drive

Undoubtedly the 1.5-liter petrol engine of Brezza is a capable unit but it's tuned for a sedate driving experience only. The car lacks the grunt and power of a turbo-petrol engine, that rivals offer. The newly introduced 6-speed AT gearbox too has a fuel-efficient tuning, thus it upshifts early and tends not to pull gears. While the car doesn’t struggle anywhere while driving, it is the fun-to-drive factor that feels missing behind the steering wheel.

Pricey Top Variants

The feature-packed Maruti Brezza top model is not as affordable and lacks the VFM that other variants offer. In fact, the top-spec automatic variant is priced similarly to the mid-variants of the more premium cars like Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos. The mid-variants are affordable but they lack crucial features.

Lack of Diesel Engine

Unlike some of its rivals, the Maruti Brezza doesn’t come with the option of a diesel engine. Hence, customers willing to buy a diesel Brezza are left with no option but to head towards the competitors. The CNG drivetrain is frugal for customers with high mileage but the limited availability of CNG makes it less practical for many buyers, especially in tier-3 cities and rural areas.
