This means there's a difference of Rs 29,010 between the base variants of both models. For the top variants, the Nexon offers the Fearless + PS DT priced at Rs 14,59,990, whereas the Brezza's top trim, the ZXi, is priced at Rs 12,09,500. Here, the difference between these two high-end variants is Rs 2,50,490.

Additionally, Nexon’s Creative Plus variant is Rs 10,490 more expensive than the Brezza ZXi. The Brezza VXi variant is priced at Rs 10,64,500, which is very close to the Pure variant at Rs 10,69,990, with just a Rs 5,490 difference. Overall, the Nexon CNG offers a wider range of trim options, while the Brezza CNG is available in just three variants. Although the Nexon CNG starts at a more budget-friendly price, the Brezza CNG offers a more affordable top variant.

Which CNG vehicle offers the better torque, power, and fuel economy?

The Brezza CNG and Nexon CNG are quite similar in terms of power output, with the Brezza producing 100.6ps and the Nexon slightly lower at 100 PS. However, the torque shows a more noticeable difference: the Nexon CNG delivers 170nm, while the Brezza CNG offers only 136nm. When it comes to mileage, the companies claim that the Brezza is a bit more fuel-efficient, achieving an extra 1.51 km/kg compared to the Nexon. Another distinction is in the gearbox; the Nexon CNG features a 6-speed manual transmission, whereas the Brezza CNG comes with a 5-speed manual.

It also includes a head-up display, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, auto climate control, a 6-speaker sound system, an electric sunroof, day & night IRVM, a front centre armrest, and a cooled glovebox. However, when comparing the CNG range between the two, the Nexon CNG noticeably offers more range than the Brezza CNG.

Safety first: Who has the upper hand?

When comparing the safety features of the Nexon CNG and Brezza CNG, both come packed with essential features like 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), hill hold assist, a rearview camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors, central locking, impact-sensing door unlock, anti-theft security, engine immobilizer, seat belt reminder, high-speed warning alert, and reverse parking sensors. Most of the key safety features you'd expect are present in both models, making them well-equipped in terms of safety.
