Hyundai Creta has been mercilessly dominating the C-segment of SUVs in India since its launch back in 2015. Many mass market manufacturers have come up with their own compact SUV since then but none have been as successful as the Creta. A new challenger has just arrived in town and it does seem to have a fanbase of its own already set up in place. Will this translate to handsome sales numbers as well? We are yet to see that. Anyway, here’s a 2024 Tata Curvv vs Hyundai Creta specs comparison.
Which one is larger?
The 2024 Hyundai Creta measures 4,330mm in length, 1,790mm in width and 1,635mm in height with the roof rails in consideration. The Tata Curvv on the other hand measures 4,308mm in length, 1,810mm in width and 1,630mm in height. The Creta has a wheelbase of 2,610mm, which is 50mm longer than that of the new Tata Curvv. Wheel size depends on the variant opted for in case of both the cars. The Creta gets options for 16-inch and 17-inch wheels while the Curvv gets options for 16-inch, 17-inch and 18-inch wheels.
Which one looks cooler?
The design of the Hyundai Creta has always been debated on. Hyundai completely ditches the language of the previous version and changes it drastically in every facelift or generational update. The current version of the Creta looks well-balanced at the front and the rear. It is not as polarising as the generation previous to it. The interior also looks classy and modern, with premium materials used extensively.
Tata Curvv brings with it a fresh design to the saturated compact SUV market. It features a coupe-like styling with the stance of an SUV and a sloping roofline. The Curvv does look cool though, and the interior follows suit. The design is nearly identical to the recently launched Tata Curvv EV, with the exceptions of a few elements like the front facade and alloy wheels.
