Styling comparison
In simple words, The Carens looks more MPV-ish and the Alcazar gives a more SUV-ish vibe. While the new Hyundai Alcazar takes a lot of styling cues from the Hyundai Creta, the Carens looks quite different from the other Kia cars in India. The same can be said for the interior of both the cars as well. None of these look sore to the eye though, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. In terms of choice of interior themes, exterior paint options and wheel design, Kia offers more options for its customers than Hyundai.

Alcazar features vs Carens features
The Hyundai Alcazar just underwent an update and it now gets some more interesting features that give it an upper hand here over the Kia Carens. Some of these features include an electric boss mode, extendable under-thigh support for second-row passengers, rear ventilated seats, and Level-2 ADAS. This does not, however, mean that the Kia Carens is underequipped. The Carens boasts a Bose sound system, one-touch tumble rear seats ensuring easy ingress and egress for third-row passengers, cruise control with speed limiter, and more.
Price in India
Despite sharing most of the mechanical features, the MPVs in question are positioned very differently from each other. The Kia Carens price starts at Rs 10.51 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 19.43 lakh, while the Hyundai Alcazar price starts at Rs 14.99 lakh going all the way up to Rs 21.54 lakh. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi. The Alcazar is offered in 14 variant choices as compared to 23 for the Carens.
