MG Comet EV
The MG Comet EV is the tiniest of the lot, but that’s not really an unfavourable trait for the value that the Comet offers. It is a practical city car, especially for crowded metros like Delhi NCR, enabling you to zip through traffic as if you were on a two-wheeler or in an auto rickshaw. The Comet features comfortable interiors and a 17.3kWh battery, which delivers a real-life range of about 150 kilometres. Tata Punch EV
Tata Punch is Tata’s first vehicle that is built on its Acti.ev platform, which has been purpose-built for EVs. It is packed with a ton of features and safety tech inside the cabin. The Punch EV gets 6 airbags as standard, along with ESP functionalities like hill hold control and roll-over mitigation. It also gets blind-spot view monitors and ISOFIX mounts. The Punch boasts of a 360-degree camera setup, ventilated front seats, four voice assistants and an air purifier. The regular Punch EV gets a 25kWh battery pack and a 80PS motor, while the Punch EV Long Range gets a 35kWh battery with a 123PS motor. Tata Tiago EV
Tata Tiago EV comes with two options for the battery pack and the electric motor. The medium-range variants come with a motor that produces 61PS of power and 110Nm of torque, along with a 19.2kWh battery pack. The long-range variants come with a larger 24kWh battery pack and a motor that produces 75PS of power and 114Nm of torque. It gets an auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, cooled glovebox, rear wiper with washer, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system from Harman and an 8-speaker sound system. Tata Tiago EV prices are between Rs 7.99 Lakh and Rs 11.89 Lakh (ex-showroom).

Citroen eC3
The Citroes eC3 is the electric version of Citroen’s C3 hatchback. It hasn’t really done well on the sales charts. But let’s be honest, isn’t that the case with all of the Citroen cars in India? Keeping that aspect aside, the Citroen eC3 gets a 29.2kWh battery paired to an electric motor that produces 57PS of power and 143Nm of torque. Though it falls short on the features front as compared to the other cars on this list, it gets wireless smartphone connectivity, a 12-volt socket, fold-flat rear seats and remote keyless entry. Seeing a lot of Tata’s in this list? You shouldn’t really be surprised, given that they dominate the Indian EV market. The Tigor EV comes equipped with a 26 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, which is paired to an electric motor that produces a power output of 74.7PS and 170Nm of torque. The Tata Tigor EV comes equipped with a dual-tone dashboard, smartwatch connectivity, tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and an infotainment system identical to the one seen on the Tiago EV, among other features. The Tata Tigor EV price ranges between Rs 12.49 Lakh to Rs 13.75 Lakh (ex-showroom).
