Verdict — Which One Should You Buy?
The Swift has always been the enthusiast’s hatch, while the Baleno is a good family car, offering a more balanced package. The new Swift, however, lacks on the performance front, which is unfortunate. The Baleno is a larger and more practical car, while the Swift offers better fuel efficiency. The new Z12E, which sooner or later will be replacing the K12C in India, boasts a better low-end grunt and acceleration which is observed in real-life driving conditions. Both the cars however are offered with an impressive package and cater to most new cars buyers in India under Rs 10 lakh. However, is the extra price for the Baleno justified? We’ll leave that to you to decide.
