- 1Creta gets a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine as an option too
- 2Starting price of Alcazar is Rs 4 lakh higher than the Creta
- 3Alcazar gets exclusive features that the Creta misses out on
The Hyundai Alcazar is essentially a 6-7 seater version of the Hyundai Creta. But the story does not end there. The two cars in question here offer varying value propositions. The updated Alcazar emphasises a lot on rear seat comfort boasting of many first-in-class features. Here’s a Hyundai Alcazar vs Hyundai Creta specs comparison, covering their features, engine options, dimensions, and prices.
Hyundai Alcazar vs Hyundai Creta engine options
The 2024 Hyundai Creta provides more flexibility in terms of powertrains options. It gets a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 6-speed MT and an IVT, which the Hyundai Alcazar misses out on. The other two engine options are shared among both these SUVs — 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel. Notably, the Hyundai Alcazar gets the option for a manual transmission with the turbo-petrol engine along with the 7-speed DCT, which the Creta does not. Should you wish to have a turbo manual combination in the Creta, Hyundai would ask you to pick the Creta N Line.

Features that the Alcazar gets but Creta does not
There are a handful of features that the new Hyundai Alcazar gets but are missing on the Hyundai Creta. Alcazar vs Creta price in India
2024 Hyundai Creta price in India lies between the range of Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 20.29 lakh. The new Hyundai Alcazar starting price is Rs 4 lakh higher than that of the Creta, standing at Rs 14.99 lakh. It tops up at Rs 21.54 lakh. The difference between the top-spec Creta and Alcazar comes out to be less than Rs 1.5 lakh. This makes the Alcazar seem like a more value for money product due to the additional features that it provides, especially if you’re looking for a chauffeur-driven car. On the other hand, if you are on the lookout for a diesel SUV, the Creta might be a better bet as it has a better power-to-weight ratio, a panoramic sunroof and a spare tire, all of which the Alcazar diesel lacks. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi. Stay tuned to CARS24 New Cars for latest updates!
