The other two engine options are shared among both these SUVs — 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel. Notably, the Hyundai Alcazar gets the option for a manual transmission with the turbo-petrol engine along with the 7-speed DCT, which the Creta does not. Dimensions and design

As you can see in the table above, the Hyundai Alcazar is longer, wider and taller than the Creta, and it has a longer wheelbase as well. This translates to more space inside the cabin. The Alcazar also gets bigger tyres to complement the bigger body. Both these cars look more pleasing than their predecessors and share a common design language. They feature connected tail lights, H-shapes for the light, a boxy silhouette, and protruding fenders.

There are a handful of features that the new Hyundai Alcazar gets but are missing on the Hyundai Creta. These include an electric boss mode, NFC-based Digital Key, and memory function for the driver’s seat. 2024 Hyundai Creta price in India lies between the range of Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 20.29 lakh. The new Hyundai Alcazar starting price is Rs 4 lakh higher than that of the Creta, standing at Rs 14.99 lakh. It tops up at Rs 21.54 lakh. The difference between the top-spec Creta and Alcazar comes out to be less than Rs 1.5 lakh. This makes the Alcazar seem like a more value for money product due to the additional features that it provides, especially if you’re looking for a chauffeur-driven car. On the other hand, if you are on the lookout for a diesel SUV, the Creta might be a better bet as it has a better power-to-weight ratio, a panoramic sunroof and a spare tire, all of which the Alcazar diesel lacks.
