My journey at CARS24: A drive like no other

It’s funny how life leads you to places you never thought you’d go. If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be sitting here, reflecting on a journey that has been equal parts exhilarating and transformative, I might have laughed. But here we are, and what a ride it’s been!

Before the pit stop at CARS24

Before CARS24 (I have completed my two years here), I was deeply rooted in the world of communication. My time at Adfactors PR gave me the chance to work with some of the most exciting brands—Zomato, Urban Company, Snapdeal, Shangri-La, and more. I was crafting stories, handling crises, and building narratives that were kind of good. But somewhere in the middle of it all, I realized that the structured, predictable world of agencies wasn’t where I wanted to stay.

Then came my stint at Apna, one of India’s youngest unicorns. Working at a startup was like stepping into a whirlwind—fast-paced, unpredictable, and wildly fulfilling. I was hooked. Startups are where ideas collide, innovation thrives, and change is the only constant. That’s where I knew I wanted to be, and CARS24 came calling at just the right time.

Shifting gears: The CARS24 leap

When I first learned about CARS24, it was a young company in a competitive space, still shaping its identity. That was the kind of challenge I wanted. My interviews with Vikram and Gajju sealed the deal. Vikram’s 1.5-hour “non-interview” was a conversation unlike any other. We talked about ideas, dislikes, and the need to break away from boring basics. By the end of it, I knew this was where I wanted to be.

When I joined CARS24, it was for a simple role in PR, at least, that’s what I thought at the time. But what this place has given me is so much more than just a job. It’s given me the freedom to explore, the trust to lead, and the chance to grow in ways I never imagined.

From PR to “Do-It-All”

My journey quickly expanded beyond PR (that too within a year by the way). Today, I’m doing everything I love: PR, social media, creative campaigns, ORM, CRM, employer branding, and so much more. I’ve learned to develop websites, dive into design, and even sit at the table to rewrite company values. Each day brings something new, and every challenge feels like an opportunity to grow.

Working closely with Vikram, Gajju, and the leadership team has been transformative. They’re not just incredible founders but amazing human beings who trust you to lead and support you when needed. I’ve had the chance to build our careers website, shape employer branding, and even create foundational policies—things I never imagined I’d be doing. The level of trust and creative freedom here is unmatched.

One of the most defining moments of my journey has been rewriting the company values. Vikram’s openness to evolving these values after 9 years spoke volumes about the company’s willingness to grow and adapt. Crafting values that resonate not just with CARS24 but with anyone who encounters them was an experience I’ll always cherish.

Fast, fierce, and full of heart

The culture here is electric. It’s young, dynamic, and full of energy. But it’s also incredibly human. I’ve met some of the smartest, most creative people here, and we’re all working toward the same goal: to make CARS24 more than just a company. Whether it’s shaping policies, launching campaigns, or building something from scratch, there’s a sense of ownership and purpose in everything we do. CARS24 is a place where your voice matters, where every idea no matter how bold or unconventional is.

The journey Is the destination

For me, CARS24 is the space where I’ve grown both professionally and personally. I’ve learned to slow down, pay attention to the details, and prioritize people over processes. Every project, from big campaigns to small ideas, feels meaningful.

CARS24 is where I’ve grown into someone I’m proud of. It’s where I’ve learned new skills, met some of the smartest, most amazing people, and done work that truly matters. It’s a place where ideas turn into impact, and every day feels like a chance to create something meaningful.

If I had to describe my journey here, it’s been messy, exciting, and absolutely worth it. And honestly, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
