With news of Ford’s potential return to India circulating online,  everyone is waiting for the new Ford cars including the Everest SUV and the Ford Mustang. The Ford Everest, also known as the Endeavour, is among the most eagerly awaited launches in the country and will compete directly with the Toyota Fortuner. 2024 Ford Everest In India - What Is It?

Unlike before, Ford India has managed to secure the ‘Everest’ trademark in India and is likely to drop the Endeavour name for its upcoming Toyota Fortuner-rivalling full-size SUV. To be brought into the Indian market via the CBU route, the new India-spec 2024 Ford Endeavour will be the same as the current-generation models sold in multiple international markets including Australia. New Ford Endeavour 2024 Interiors And Features

Just like the exteriors, the interiors of this upcoming Ford SUV in India too are completely new and boast a fresh dashboard layout with a vertically oriented 12-inch SYNC infotainment system. Moreover, other 2024 Ford Everest features include a 12.4-inch digital instrument console, multi-zone climate control, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charging pad, a large panoramic sunroof, powered seat adjustment and more. 

2024 Ford Everest Engine Details

While the global-spec models are offered with a choice of three diesel engine options including a 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel and a 3.0-litre V6 diesel, the details about the Indian-spec version are yet to be known. From what we know so far, Ford is likely to bring the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel in India, which would be paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a four-wheel-drive system as standard.

While we are still awaiting the official launch timeline of the new 2024 Everest in India, some reports suggest that the American carmaker is expected to make a comeback later this year with the launch of the new Endeavour. However, we will not be surprised if Ford decides to launch this SUV sometime next year.
