Ahead of the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line launch in India, bits of information about this model have been surfacing from time to time, including its engine specs, colour options, and more. Recently, the key features of the SUV have also been revealed by the carmaker. The VW Tiguan R-Line is set to launch on April 14, 2025, and will come to India as a Completely-Built Unit. Upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line features

Talking about the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line features, it will come equipped with three-zone climate control, 30-colour ambient lighting, a dual wireless smartphone charger, front seats with massage function, adjustable lumbar support for the front seats, park assist, ADAS functionalities, and more.
Apart from these, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line feature list will also include a 12.9-inch freestanding touchscreen unit, digital driver display, TPMS, multiple speakers, six airbags, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, and more.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line engine details

Under the hood, the VW Tiguan R-Line will be equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine. The said engine produces 204PS of peak power and 320Nm of maximum torque. It will be paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and VW's 4Motion AWD system.
The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line top speed is claimed to be 229 km/h, and it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line price in India is expected to be northwards of Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom). The Tiguan R-Line will compete with other premium SUVs in India like the Volvo XC40, BMW X1, Audi Q3, and the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
