Volkswagen Tiguan R Line bookings open — Specs revealed

The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line bookings are now open in India. You can place your pre-booking either through the official VW website or by visiting your nearest VW dealership. The VW Tiguan R Line launch is scheduled for 14th April 2025. It’s also worth noting that this model will arrive in India via the CBU route. Volkswagen Tiguan R Line specs revealed

The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line will be powered by a 2.0L TSI engine, producing 204PS of power and 320Nm of torque. It will come paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 4Motion AWD system. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line top speed is claimed to be 229 km/h.

Volkswagen Tiguan R Line exterior & colour options

The all-new Volkswagen Tiguan R Line features a stylish front fascia with headlamps that are complemented by connected LED DRLs positioned above them. Below the headlamps, there’s a mesh-shaped grille and air dams. At the rear, this model also gets a connected LED taillight.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line will be available in six colour options: Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Persimmon Red Metallic, Cipressino Green Metallic, Oryx White Mother of Pearl Effect, and Oyster Silver Metallic.

Volkswagen Tiguan R Line features

Talking about the VW Tiguan R Line features, based on the images and details that have been spotted, the interior is likely to include 12.9-inch central touchscreen infotainment system, 10.3-inch digital instrument display, ambient lighting, steering wheel-mounted controls, dual-zone climate control, and drive selector, among others. It’s also expected to come with the ADAS suite.

Volkswagen Tiguan R Line price

The VW Tiguan R Line price is expected to be in the more premium range, around Rs 50 lakh, compared to the VW Tiguan, which was priced at Rs 38.17 lakh. The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line will go against the likes of the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, Audi Q3, and Volvo XC40.
