Volkswagen India has launched the Virtus Highline Plus and Taigun Highline Plus trims, with starting prices of Rs 13.87 lakh and Rs 14.26 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. The Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus and Virtus Highline Plus both feature the same 1.0L TSI petrol engine, delivering 115PS and 178Nm of torque. Each model is offered with either a 6-speed Manual or a 6-speed Automatic transmission. There's a price difference of Rs 1.10 lakh between the Virtus Highline Plus with the manual gearbox and the automatic version, as well as the same Rs 1.10 lakh difference between the Taigun Highline Plus with manual and automatic transmissions.
The Highline Plus variant features a 10.09-inch infotainment screen, 8-inch digital cluster, auto headlamps, auto coming/leaving home lights, electric sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, KESSY, wireless charger, and rain-sensing wipers, among others. For safety, it comes with 6 airbags, hill hold control, TPMS, ESC, ABS, traction control, BA, EBD, and more.

VW Taigun GT Plus, Taigun Topline, and Virtus Topline receive feature updates
In addition to introducing new trims to its model lineup, Volkswagen has enhanced the feature packages for selected variants, including the Taigun GT Line. This model now comes equipped with an 8-inch Digital Cockpit, an electric sunroof, KESSY (Keyless Entry, Start, and Exit), aluminium pedals, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming interior rearview mirror. Furthermore, the Taigun Topline and Virtus Topline trims now include the Digital Sound Package with an amplifier and subwoofer as standard features.
