Volkswagen India has launched two new variants: the Virtus Highline Plus, starting at Rs 13.88 lakh, and the Taigun Highline Plus, with prices beginning at Rs 14.27 lakh. Additionally, Volkswagen has raised the prices of the Highline variants for both the Virtus and Taigun by up to Rs 89,000 across both manual and automatic transmissions. The Highline Plus features a 1.0L turbo petrol engine, with options for a manual transmission at Rs 13.88 lakh or an automatic gearbox at Rs 14.98 lakh, delivering 115PS and 178Nm of torque.
The Highline Plus variant features a 10.09-inch VW Play touchscreen infotainment system, Wired App-Connect for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and an 8-speaker audio system. It also includes cruise control, KESSY, electric sunroof, six airbags, multi-collision brakes, rear parking sensors, ESC, ABS, EBD, and more.

Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus variant prices & engine specs
The Volkswagen Taigun Highline Plus variant comes with a higher price tag than the Virtus Highline Plus. It features the familiar 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 115PS and 178Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission, priced at Rs 14.27 lakh, or a 6-speed automatic transmission, priced at Rs 15.37 lakh.
This variant is well-equipped with a 10.09-inch VW Play touchscreen, wired App-Connect for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, six speakers, rear parking sensors, KESSY (keyless entry), hill start assist, electric sunroof, ESC, multi-collision braking, EBD, ABS, and more.
