Mercedes-Benz India has launched the updated 2024 AMG G 63 performance SUV at a starting price of Rs 3.60 crore ex-showroom, New Delhi. What’s interesting to note is that the first batch of the G 63 AMG, which consists of 120+ units, is already allotted to customers. Updated Mercedes-AMG G 63 launched
After a small hiatus, the Mercedes-AMG G 63 comes back to India carrying an eye-watering price of Rs 3.60 crore ex-showroom. The updated model brings a few exterior enhancements, an updated mild-hybrid V8 powertrain and a new infotainment system that finally supports touch input. Starting with the design, the updated G 63 now offers reprofiled bumpers along with stainless steel AMG inserts. It is also available with optional 22-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the biggest change is the updated infotainment system, which runs on new user interface and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. Additionally, it offers USB type-C charging ports all around and an AR-based navigation system, which uses feed from the front camera to display real-time directions on the infotainment system. Another addition is the new 3-spoke steering wheel with capacitive controls.
Coming to the highlight of the G 63 that happens to be its engine, it continues with its handcrafted 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that now has been added with a mild-hybrid system. As a result, it now gets 22PS of additional power boost from the electric motor, as and when demanded. The powertrain output stands at 585PS and 850Nm of torque. Thanks to the newly-added race start function, the G 63 AMG accelerates from standstill to 100kmph in 4.3 seconds and touches a top speed of 240kmph.
