Upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line colours revealed — All six options here!

Volkswagen has two global models on the cards for India, the first of which is set to arrive next month. The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line has been listed on the Volkswagen India website, and the carmaker has put out key details about the upcoming SUV in India. In this story, we’ll show you all the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line colour options.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line colour options

Volkswagen will offer the Tiguan R-Line in a choice of six paint options in India — Oyster Silver Metallic, Persimmon Red Metallic, Nightshade Blue Metallic, Grenadilla Black Metallic, Oryx White Mother Of Pearl Effect, and Cipressino Green Metallic. New Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line dimensions and design

The R-Line is based on the third generation Tiguan, which follows a more curvier approach to panel styling than the current second generation model. There’s a slimmer front grille with a thin LED bar that connects the headlamps. The grille down below is specific to the R-Line trim and features a diamond pattern. The rear face also gets connected lights with TIGUAN badging placed lower on the boot lid.

Volkswagen Tiguan interior and features

The dashboard features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with R-Line-specific touches to distinguish it from the regular Tiguan. Key Volkswagen Tiguan features include an 8-speaker sound system, a 12.9-inch floating touchscreen setup, R-Line-specific front sport seats, heated steering wheel, auto-dimming IRVM, three-zone climate control, and more. Key Volkswagen Tiguan safety features include disc brakes for all four wheels, ISOFIX child seat mounts, six airbags, hill-start assist, ADAS functionalities, and more.

Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line engine specs

The India-spec Tiguan R-Line will come with a 2.0-litre turbocharged-petrol engine that has been tuned to put out 204PS of maximum power and 320Nm of peak torque. The TSI engine will come mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and VW’s 4MOTION system.

2025 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line India launch date

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line launch in India will take place on April 14, 2025. This will be followed by the Volkswagen Golf GTI India launch in FY2025 Q2.
