Tata Harrier EV — What is it?
The Harrier EV, as the name suggests, is the upcoming electric version of Tata’s popular compact SUV, the Tata Harrier. Debuted at the Delhi Auto Show in 2023, the Harrier EV has been under development for quite a while now and a version of the same was also showcased at the Bharat Mobility Expo in February 2024.

Tata Motors has just confirmed in one of its financial meetings that it plans to launch the new Tata Harrier EV by the end of the current financial year, which happens to be March 2025. The manufacturer is yet to reveal the official launch of the electric SUV, but it is safe to say that it will be here within the next four months.

Harrier EV powertrain
There haven’t been any revelations about the battery and motor specifications from the carmaker yet, but spy shots have suggested that the Harrier EV shall be launched in both 2WD and AWD configurations. Expected Tata Harrier EV range lies somewhere around 500 kilometres.
Expected features
We got a glimpse of the upcoming Harrier EV interior at the Bharat Mobility Show that you can see in the picture attached. Expected features to be offered on this upcoming electric car in India include Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera setup, a large touchscreen unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, electrically-adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, and more.
