The Tata Altroz was first launched in India back in January 2020, while the Altroz CNG took a bit longer, with its launch in May 2023. Now, it seems like the right time for a facelift to help keep the model in-line with current trends. On one side, the regular Altroz facelift has been spotted undergoing testing, and along with that, an Altroz CNG facelift test mule has also been seen. In the recently spied shots, the upcoming Altroz CNG was spotted under heavy camouflage, but it still gave away a fair bit of detail. Upcoming Tata Altroz CNG facelift spied — What's new?

In the recently captured spy shots of the upcoming Tata Altroz CNG, things like steel wheels and a missing rear wiper suggest that the test mule spotted was probably a base variant. The Altroz CNG facelift exterior looks quite similar in design and silhouette to the outgoing version, even though it was covered in heavy camouflage.

At the front, the upcoming Altroz CNG is expected to get some updates around the headlamps, and a few changes can also be noticed around the lower bumper. The rear is also likely to feature minor updates and other small revisions.

New Tata Altroz CNG facelift interior

The upcoming Tata Altroz CNG interior is expected to see slight changes, likely the dashboard layout. However, the overall feel is probably going to remain quite familiar. It is also rumoured that the Altroz CNG facelift might feature a steering wheel similar to the one in the Tata Nexon, with two spokes.

2025 Tata Altroz CNG facelift features

The Tata Altroz CNG facelift feature list is expected to include a new 10.2-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, cruise control, rear AC vent, multiple speakers, wireless charger, auto-dimming IRVM, single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, and more.

On the safety front, the upcoming Altroz CNG is expected to come with 6 airbags, 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, ISOFIX, parking sensors, ABS, hill hold, and other safety features.

2025 Tata Altroz CNG facelift engine specs

The upcoming Altroz CNG facelift is expected to continue with the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine. It produces 74PS and 103Nm when run on CNG , while on petrol, it makes 88PS and 115Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and there's no option for an automatic gearbox. The outgoing Tata Altroz CNG mileage is claimed at 26.2 km/kg, and on the facelift, no change is expected.

2025 Tata Altroz CNG India launch

As for the Tata Altroz CNG facelift India launch, it is expected to take place sometime in the second half of this year, possibly around the fourth quarter. It is also expected that Tata Motors might first launch the Altroz petrol facelift, followed by the Altroz CNG facelift.

Expected Tata Altroz CNG facelift price & rivals

The outgoing Tata Altroz CNG price ranges from Rs 7.59 lakh to Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The upcoming Tata Altroz CNG price is expected to be slightly higher, anticipated to fall between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). This model will continue to compete with other popular hatchbacks in the segment, including the Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and others.
