Skoda Auto has released a teaser video of the upcoming Skoda Elroq, which will be the Czech carmaker’s second electric SUV and the first model to feature its new ‘Modern Solid’ design language. The Skoda Elroq will be unveiled to the public on October 1, 2024 at Prague. Here’s everything you need to know about Skoda’s upcoming electric SUV.

Skoda Elroq – What is it?

The Elroq is Skoda’s second electric SUV and the first one to feature Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language. Underpinned by the Volkswagen MEB platform, the Skoda Elroq will be offered with the choice of four powertrain options, as confirmed by the brand earlier. The Elroq will also mark Skoda’s efforts towards sustainability with extensive use of recycled plastic and nylon for the interior.

Skoda Elroq design

We’ve got a glimpse of what the Elroq would look like through the teaser video that Skoda just released. The Elroq features a light bar that extends through the whole front fascia of the car, with segmented DRLs at the ends. The rear lights resemble the ones seen on the Skoda Enyaq. The Elroq also features a blacked-out front grille that’s more of a styling feature now than a functional element.
