Renault Duster 7-seater hybrid India launch incoming — All details!

While the Renault Duster India launch is certain to happen, there have been speculations about the Renault Bigster also on the cards. The Bigster is essentially a 7-seater version of the Duster, which is already on sale in certain international markets. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Renault Bigster.

Alias Dacia Bigster

Based on the same CMF-B platform as the Duster, the Renault Bigster is sold under the brand name of Dacia Bigster in certain markets. The Bigster is around 230mm longer than the Duster and has a wheelbase of 2,700mm. 

Renault Bigster design

The Bigster looks like a stretched version of the Duster, and that’s what it is. It gets the same front, rear, and side profiles, with the signature triads all over the place. The front is curvy and the rear is comparatively boxy.

Renault Bigster interior and features

The interior has also been picked up straight from the Duster SUV. Key Renault Bigster features include a large centre touchscreen, air-con vents with the signature triads, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ADAS functionalities, and more.

2025 Renault Bigster hybrid

Aside from petrol powertrains, the Bigster might also get a 1.6-litre petrol-hybrid setup with a combined power output of 142PS. It might be offered in an all-wheel drive configuration as well, though there’s no confirmation from the automaker on the same yet.

New Renault Bigster India launch

There’s no communication around the timeline of the Renault Bigster launch in India. We expect it to happen after the Renault Duster India launch, which might take place by the end of this year or earlier next year.
