New Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
As discussed above, the Maruti Ertiga is due for a generational update, which is expected to arrive next year. A key source has also claimed to have seen a test mule of the upcoming Maruti Ertiga being tested at Rohtak. We’ll show you the pictures of the same as soon as we get our hands on them.
Design changes
While the Ertiga has evolved from the original model in terms of styling elements, what it needs is a major design overhaul that makes it look more upmarket and appealing than the current generation. It could certainly take some cues from the BYD eMax 7, which was recently launched as a facelift to the e6 MPV.

Interior and feature additions
The interior is where the Ertiga needs a more rigorous redesign, with better elements and a modern dashboard layout. It could also add some features to the higher-spec trims such as a sunroof, curtain airbags, a bigger infotainment screen, and wireless smartphone charger. Maruti is also likely to offer more safety features as standard, along with a tougher body shell for improved safety.
