The Kia Seltos was first launched in India on August 22, 2019, and its first facelift came in July 2023. While the current model continues to perform well, the buzz around the next-gen Kia Seltos has already begun. 

Recently, a fresh spy shot surfaced from South Korea, where testing for the upcoming generational update Seltos has started. This image offers a glimpse of the upcoming new-gen Seltos design and reveals some interesting details about what we can expect in the future. Upcoming next-gen Kia Seltos design spied

The excitement around the upcoming new-gen Kia Seltos has been growing, especially after fresh spy shots leaked from South Korea. What’s interesting is the front fascia design of the upcoming next-gen Kia Seltos, which appears to have received a complete overhaul. The new grille with vertical slats is noticeable, and the headlamps have a square shape with soft edges. The lower bumper and the bonnet, though hidden under camouflage, are likely to feature some redesign as well.

The overall front face seems to take design inspiration from the Kia Telluride, with bolder face, broader shoulder lines and roof rails that share a similar style. Though the rest of the exterior is concealed, we can expect a new taillight and updated rear section to follow the same trend. The alloy wheels, though not clearly visible, are expected to get a fresh dual-tone.

New-gen Kia Seltos features

The new gen Kia Seltos interior is expected to feature a refreshed cabin design with soft-touch elements. The upcoming new-gen Kia features are expected to include a larger infotainment system, a new driver display, HUD, two-spoke steering wheel, multi-zone climate control, wireless charging, ventilated seats, speakers, day/night IRVM, and more. For safety, it will come with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, hill hold assist, TPMS, and is likely to include an ADAS suite as well.

Upcoming New-gen Kia Seltos engine options

The next-gen Kia Seltos engine options are expected to be similar to the current generation, with a 1.5-litre N/A Petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine available.

Next-gen Kia Seltos prices

The Kia Seltos price currently starts at Rs 10.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 20.45 lakh. However, the upcoming next-gen Kia Seltos price range is likely to be slightly higher. The Kia Seltos is already priced at a higher end in the C-segment SUV space and the new price increase with the 2025 model will only expand the price band further. Hence, one could find some impressive deals in the used car space as there are plenty of low-mileage used Seltos SUVs available.
