Upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire spied in the flesh — Exterior design revealed

Diwali’s just around the corner and all the pre-diwali launches have been wrapped up. The most relevant launch right after the festival is that of the Dzire, and people can’t seem to wait for it. Some undisguised units of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire have been spotted by an automotive page, completely revealing the exterior design of the compact sedan. Here’s what we know now.

New Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The Maruti Suzuki Dzire is undergoing a generational update, following the footsteps of the Maruti Suzuki Swift, which also got one earlier this year. The upcoming Dzire gets a full revamp in terms of styling, and the will be powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol unit that is seen on the new Swift.

Exterior design

The front end of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire gets a complete redesign with new angular headlights connected by a thin bar of chrome. There’s a huge grille further down along with tiny fog lamps placed on either side. A similar design language is seen at the rear end, with the tail lights connected by a thicker chrome bar. There’s a shark fin antenna on the top and the rear lights might remind you of those of the Audi RS e-tron. 

Expected features

We haven’t seen any reliable images of the interior yet, but we expect it to be akin to the one in its hatchback counterpart. Expected features include a 360-degree camera setup, a touchscreen infotainment screen at the centre, digital driver’s display, sunroof, 6 airbags, ESP, and more tech, comfort, and safety features.
