Among them, there are four key models expected to hit the Indian market by the end of 2025. In this article, we’ll dive into these top four upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars, taking a closer look at their details, expected launch timeline, and more.
Next-gen Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The next-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to launch in November, likely on the 4th. This model will feature a redesigned exterior, with updates to the front and rear. It’s expected to retain many features from the outgoing Dzire while adding new ones, including a floating touchscreen infotainment system, single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, wireless charger, cruise control, and a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel.
Safety will be enhanced with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, brake assist, hill hold assist, ESP, and an anti-lock braking system with EBD. There are talks of including ADAS, possibly incorporating some Level 1 features.

Under the hood, the Dzire is expected to have a new 1.2-litre Z-series petrol engine, available with a 5-speed MT or AMT. A CNG engine option will also be available, but only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Pricing is anticipated to range from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 12 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
The Maruti Suzuki eVX concept was unveiled during its global premiere in 2023, marking the company's entry into the electric vehicle market. Although the launch timeline isn't confirmed, there are high hopes that it will hit Indian roads by the first half of 2025. The eVX will measure 4,300 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, giving it a spacious feel.
Under the hood, it’s expected to come with two battery options. The smaller 48 kWh battery is anticipated to deliver an impressive range of around 400 km on a single charge. On the other hand, the larger 60 kWh battery could provide an even more remarkable driving range of up to 550 km. Pricing for this electric vehicle is projected to be between Rs. 20 lakh and Rs. 25 lakh, making it a competitive option in the market.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx was launched in India in 2023, offering a choice of engines, including a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine, a 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine, and a CNG option. However, there’s also a hybrid powertrain on the horizon for this model.
The Fronx hybrid is expected to hit the Indian market in 2025, offering a strong hybrid technology that will likely include a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This hybrid version is anticipated to achieve impressive fuel efficiency, estimated to be around 30-35 kmpl. In addition to these enhancements, the Fronx hybrid will also have subtle exterior updates and improvements in the cabin.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara 7-seater
Maruti Suzuki currently offers the Grand Vitara as a five-seater, with two engine options: a mild-hybrid petrol and a strong petrol hybrid, along with a CNG variant. Excitingly, a larger version of the Grand Vitara is anticipated to launch in 2025, featuring both six-seater and seven-seater configurations.
The upcoming model is expected to come with a 1.5-litre K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine, likely available in the base and mid variants. The top variant will probably feature the 1.5-litre strong hybrid petrol engine, along with the six-seater and seven-seater options. This upcoming model will not only be longer but may also include some minor cosmetic updates. Prices are anticipated to start above Rs 15 lakh and could go up to Rs 26 lakh.
