The first Maruti car in India to be launched this year will be the e Vitara, which marks the carmaker’s entry into the electric space for not just India, but for international markets too. The Maruti e Vitara gets a distinctive exterior design as well as a new interior theme that makes it stand apart from rest of the Maruti cars in India.

Maruti Grand Vitara 7-Seater

Expected launch timeline: End-2025

Estimated starting price: Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom)

A 7-seater version of the Grand Vitara SUV has been awaited for quite some time now, and a test mule of the same has also been spied a couple of times. Maruti is likely to launch the 7-seater Grand Vitara somewhere around the end of 2025, and the SUV is expected to get the same set of powertrains as the standard 5-seater model.

Maruti Suzuki cars’ special edition models

Apart from these two major launches, Maruti might also bring special editions of their existing cars and SUVs every now and then. There isn’t any concrete information about the same yet. There might be a special edition of the Wagon R soon to commemorate 25 years of sales of the tallboy in India.
