The Carens is Kia’s MPV that goes against the likes of other people-movers such as the Toyota Innova and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It sits somewhere between these two cars and is positioned as a premium offering.
2025 Kia Carens facelift India launch timeline
Multiple media reports have confirmed that Kia India will launch the facelifted Carens by August 2025. It might initially be sold to just private buyers, with leftover units of the outgoing model being available for commercial buyers. Kia is yet to confirm the same.

New Kia Carens facelift price expectations
The expected Kia Carens facelift price in India will start from somewhere around Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). The model currently on sale is priced between Rs 10.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant and Rs 19.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec variant. Kia Carens facelift design upgrades
As seen in spy shots of a test mule, the updated Kia Carens will get sharper headlights, connected rear lights, reprofiled bumpers, new alloy wheels, and other such styling changes. It is likely to retain the same basics such as the wheelbase and the silhouette of the MPV.
Kia Carens facelift interior changes
The new Kia Carens is also expected to get a revamped interior layout, though the one on the current model looks immaculate in itself. Expected Kia Carens facelift features include an ADAS suite, a 360-degree camera setup, a new steering wheel, and rear ventilated seats, like the ones seen on the new Kia Syros.

Upcoming Kia Carens EV
Followed by the launch of the facelifted Carens MPV, an electric Kia Carens will also be launched, which is expected to look a lot like its ICE version but with subtle styling changes.
