Upcoming Hyundai Creta EV spied – Interior and features revealed
- 1Most of the interior panels and features are borrowed from the ICE Creta
- 2Gets a three-spoke steering wheel with the four-dot Hyundai logo
- 3Expected to be launched sometime in 2025
The upcoming Creta EV has been spied yet again. But this time, the spy shots reveal details about the interior and features of the upcoming Hyundai electric car in India. While most of the panels and controls are borrowed from the ICE Creta, there are some EV-specific changes that can be seen in the cabin including a new steering wheel. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV.
Hyundai Creta EV
The Creta EV will be Hyundai’s third electric car in India, following the Ioniq 5 and the now-discontinued Kona EV. Hyundai aims to position it as its first mass-market electric vehicle, boosting the sales of its electric cars in India.
Creta EV interior
As seen in the spy shots, the Creta EV borrows most of its interior panels and controls from its ICE counterpart, including the twin-screen setup for infotainment & instrumentation, HVAC controls, IRVM, and door panels. The steering wheel is a 3-spoke unit and features the four-dot Hyundai logo akin the one in the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The centre console has a tweaked design and misses the gear lever. The drive selector is expected to make its way behind the steering wheel.

Creta EV features
The Creta EV is expected to get all the features that the ICE version gets, and then some more to justify the price difference between both the versions. It is likely to get a Level-2 ADAS suite, premium sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags, 360-degree parking cameras, and more. We hope that the new Creta EV does come equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, unlike the current Hyundai cars in India with the 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Creta EV powertrain
While there is no official confirmation from Hyundai, reports suggest that the 2025 Hyundai Creta EV could come with a 45kWh battery pack. Keeping the costs in check, the Creta EV is likely to boast a single motor powering the front wheels, offering 138PS of power and 255Nm of torque. Given the global range of Hyundai EVs, the Creta EV could offer DC fast charging support via a nose-mounted charging socket, as seen in the previous spy shots.
