The financial year 2025-26 has just begun, and some of the major carmakers in India have a few new products for our market that are planned to be launched this month. Unlike the past couple of months, April will see a mixed bag including SUVs, sedans, and MPVs, in both ICE and EV configurations. Here’s a list of the upcoming cars in India in April 2025.

Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line

Estimated starting price: Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom)
As confirmed by Volkswagen India, the Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line India launch will take place on April 14, 2025. The Tiguan R-Line will come as a CBU, powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged-petrol engine mated to a 7-speed DSG and VW’s 4MOTION AWD system.
Skoda Kodiaq

Estimated starting price: Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom)
Skoda showcased the second generation Skoda Kodiaq at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo earlier this year in Delhi, and the same is expected to be launched in April 2025. The upcoming Kodiaq is expected to come with the same powertrain as the outgoing model.

Tata Harrier EV

Estimated starting price: Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Tata Harrier EV launch in India is finally expected to take place this month, and the SUV has already been revealed in its production form. The upcoming Tata Harrier EV will be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, with the latter claiming a peak torque figure of 500Nm.
Kia Carens Facelift

Estimated starting price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kia has been working on a facelifted version of the Carens MPV for some time now, and the same is likely to be launched sometime in April. The Kia Carens Facelift India launch will soon be followed by an electric version of the MPV, and the same has been spied testing on various occasions.

BMW 2 Series

Estimated starting price: Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom)
The second generation BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe was launched globally last year, and the same is expected to make its way to India this month. The new 2 Series looks much more aggressive than the first generation model, and still looks appealing.
