You must have read enough stories about the Tata Curvv, but it’ll soon see the daylight as Tata will be launching the Tata Curvv EV on August 7, 2024. From what we know so far, after the Curvv EV, Tata will also launch petrol and diesel versions of the coupe SUV. The Tata Curvv’s silhouette looks similar to that of the Citroen Basalt and the Ford Capri EV.

Citroen’s answer to the Tata Curvv, the Citroen Basalt is a coupe SUV from the French automaker. Will the Basalt be a hit or a miss, just like all other cars from Citroen? We’ll let time decide that. Speaking of time, the Citroen Basalt will be revealed to the Indian audience on August 2, 2024.

 

Mahindra Thar 5-door

Probably the most anticipated of them all, the Mahindra Thar 5-door launch will finally take place on 15 August 2024. Rumoured to be dubbed as the Armada, the Thar 5-door was recently spied, revealing a new front grille, LED headlamps and projector lamps and a redesigned front bumper. Rest of the design features remain similar to the 3-door Thar.

Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet

Mercedes-Benz is launching another cabriolet in the Indian market. This time, it’s the Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet. Although the automaker is yet to reveal the technical specifications of the Indian-spec CLE, the global-spec CLE Cabriolet is offered with the option of 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options, with rear- and all-wheel drivetrain options.

 

Mercedes GLC 43 AMG Coupe

This new SUV from Mercedes, which will be launched in the 43 AMG guise, gets a handcrafted 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with hybrid assist and electric exhaust-gas turbocharger, paired to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive. 

 

Lamborghini Urus SE

The Lamborghini Urus SE, which is the plug-in-hybrid version of the Lamborghini Urus, will make its way to Indian shores on the 9th of August, 2024. It gets a twin-turbo 4.0-litre engine, a 25.9kWh battery pack, a rear motor and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Aston Martin Vantage

Expected Price: Rs 4 Crore

 

The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage will also be unveiled in the month of August 2024. Keeping true to its legacy, it gets a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8, generating a monstrous 686hp and 800Nm of torque. Triple digit speeds appear in 3.5 seconds and the top speed is 325kph.
