What Is It?

The Maruti Suzuki eVX is the Indo-Japanese manufacturer’s upcoming all-electric crossover, which will mark Maruti Suzuki’s foray into the electric vehicle market. Suzuki is yet to reveal key details about the car, including the battery capacity, motor, range and not to forget — its name.

When Did We First See It?

Maruti Suzuki first showcased a prototype of the eVX at the Delhi Auto Expo back in 2023. Subsequently, it was also seen at the inaugural edition of the Bharat Mobility Expo in January this year.

What Cars Will The 2025 Maruti Suzuki eVX Rival?

Once launched, the Maruti Suzuki eVX electric crossover will possibly rival cars such as the new Tata Curvv EV, upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, MS ZS EV, BYD Atto 3 and one of Mahindra’s upcoming line of electric SUVs. 

Will We Get Toyota’s Version Too?

Yes, as it is being developed with Toyota, under the Maruti Suzuki - Toyota global alliance. Toyota’s version will be launched a few months after the Suzuki eVX though.

When Is The Maruti Suzuki eVX Launching In India?

Maruti Suzuki will showcase a production-ready version of the eVX at the Delhi Auto Expo next year, followed soon by its official launch. It will be launched in international markets like Europe first, but will be manufactured in India, as per reports.
