Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 now available with a manual — Price announced

Toyota India has launched the Fortuner Legender 4x4 diesel manual variant, thereby extending the Legender line-up. Up until now, the Fortuner Legender was only available with diesel 2WD and diesel 4WD AT powertrain options. Read on to know more about the Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 and its diesel manual price.

Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 diesel manual launched

The Toyota Fortuner Legender 4x4 diesel manual variant has been launched in India at Rs 46.36 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi. The diesel manual 4x4 variant of the Legender is Rs 1.73 lakh cheaper than the diesel AT 4x4. Like the other variants of the Fortuner Legender, the diesel manual 4x4 variant is also available in the Pearl White exterior colour with black roof only. Bookings for the diesel manual 4x4 Legender are now open across Toyota India dealerships and Toyota website as well. As per Toyota, the diesel manual 4x4 variant in the Legender lineup has been introduced for the off-road enthusiasts who want to have the precision of a manual transmission.

Launched back in 2021, the Legender is a more premium version of the Fortuner that brings a body kit on the exterior along with different headlights and tail lights. On the inside, the Fortuner Legender comes with a different upholstery and a few extra features over the standard Fortuner. Toyota also offers a GR Sport version of the Fortuner that comes at an obnoxious price of Rs 51.94 lakh ex-showroom, New Delhi.

Toyota Fortuner Legender engine specifications

The Toyota Fortuner Legender comes with the 2.8-litre diesel engine that can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While the AT could be had with either 4x2 or 4x4 drivetrains, the manual transmission comes coupled exclusively with the 4x4 drivetrain. Its engine puts out 204PS of power between 3000rpm and 3400rpm and 500Nm of torque when coupled with the auto transmission whereas the torque drops to 420Nm in case of the manual transmission.
