Toyota India has revealed its February 2025 car sales that has posted a YoY growth of 13%. The carmaker has been posting impressive figures with the Maruti-shared products and also gaining momentum with its legacy models like the updated Land Cruiser LC300 and Camry Hybrid. Toyota India dispatched 28,414 cars from its two facilities in Bangalore in the month of February 2025. In comparison, Toyota dispatched 25,200 cars in the same month last year, thereby posting a growth of 13% in the month of February 2025. It is worth mentioning that the dispatched figure of February 2025 includes 26,414 units for the domestic market, while exports stood at 2000 units. Toyota reveals that Maruti-supplied Taisor and Glanza contribute to 28% in monthly sales.

Furthermore, Toyota India also posted impressive growth of 30% in the first 11 months of the financial year 2024-25. Toyota sold 3,06,105 units between April 2024 and February 2025 whereas in the same period last year, the company sold 2,36,332 units. A large contribution of this increase in sales could be down to the introduction of the Taisor, which was launched in India in April 2024.

Commenting on the strong performance, Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business said, “We thank our customers for their unwavering confidence in the Toyota brand. MPVs and SUVs continue to be the primary growth drivers, contributing 68% to overall sales. The strong demand for models such as the Innova Crysta, Innova Hycross, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hilux, Fortuner, Legender, and Rumion reflects the growing preference for reliable and quality products”.
