Toyota, just like other car manufacturers in India, has witnessed a decline in sales this month due to the end of this year’s festive season. Compared to last year’s sales numbers in the same month, however, the Japanese carmaker saw a significant growth. MoM and YoY analysis
Net month-on-month sales fell by 14.6% as this year’s festive season came to an end. Exports also declined heavily by 57.9%. Contrary to this trend, the year-on-year sales grew by a good 47.7% with a major part contributed by domestic sales.

Toyota India recently surpassed the 1 lakh units sales milestone for the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, marking a significant achievement in its journey in India. Toyota achieved this in just 22 months of sales. The Hyryder also happens to be the first product in India that has jointly been developed by Toyota and Maruti Suzuki, as part of their global partnership.
