Tata Curvv CNG
Expected launch timeline: 2025
Estimated starting price: Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom)
Tata Motors has been actively considering a CNG version of the new Curvv coupe SUV, and might launch the same sometime next year. There is no confirmation whether the CNG kit will be paired to the 1.2-litre Revotron engine like that on the Nexon iCNG, or to the new 1.2-litre Hyperion engine.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG
Expected launch timeline: 2025
Estimated starting price: Rs 9.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Maruti Brezza is expected to undergo a facelift next year (you can read our story about the same here), and the CNG versions of the SUV are likely to be continued on the updated model as well. The new Brezza is likely to continue with the same K-series engine for the foreseeable future, but there have been reports of Maruti working on a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol to replace the 1.5-litre NA unit.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga CNG
Expected launch timeline: 2025
Estimated starting price: Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom)
The Ertiga is expected to get a generational update sometime in 2025, and will continue getting a CNG version, which brings considerable units of sales for the brand. Like the Brezza, the Ertiga is also likely to continue with the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated engine till the time Maruti comes out with a 1.2-litre turbo unit, as rumoured.
Honda Amaze CNG
Expected launch timeline: 2025
Estimated starting price: Rs 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom)
The next-gen Honda Amaze is just around the corner, and to give the new Dzire a worthy fight, Honda has to give the Amaze an option for a factory-fitted CNG kit. The outgoing model misses out on the same, though it is widely offered at the dealer level. If launched, the Amaze CNG would be priced starting somewhere between Rs 8-9 lakh (ex-showroom).
