Expected Starting Price: Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom)

After the launch of the 2024 Tata Curvv EV earlier this month, Tata Motors is set to launch the ICE variants of its coupe SUV in India. Launching with two petrol and one diesel engine, including a new three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with direct injection, the Curvv will target the highly competitive compact SUV segment in India.

Mercedes Maybach EQS 680

Expected Launch Date: September 5, 2024

Expected Starting Price: Rs 4 crore (ex-showroom)

It’s raining Mercedes this year in the country, and the latest entrant is going to be the ultra-luxurious Mercedes Maybach EQS SUV. Set to be Mercedes’ flagship SUV in India, the Maybach EQS 680 packs in a lot of power too, reaching a top speed of 210 kph and boasting a 0-100 kph time of 4.4 seconds.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Facelift

Expected Launch Date: September 9, 2024

Expected Starting Price: Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom)

Being a facelift and not a generational update, the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is expected to carry over the same set of powertrains as the outgoing models, although it will feature a host of design changes as seen in the pictures revealed recently. New Hyundai Alcazar facelift bookings have already been commenced by Hyundai India.

MG Windsor EV

Expected Launch Date: September 11, 2024

Expected Starting Price: Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom)

Known as the Cloud EV elsewhere, MG’s new electric car is ready to set foot in India on the 11th of September. The MG Windsor EV will sit alongside the MG ZS EV, while offering a lot more space and comfort, thanks to its skateboard EV platform. It will feature a fixed glass roof and lots of features including Level-2 ADAS.

Tata Nexon iCNG

Expected Launch Date: September 2024

Expected Starting Price: Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom)

In a series of firsts, the upcoming Tata Nexon iCNG is all pumped up to disrupt the Indian market, being the first CNG car to be offered with a turbocharged petrol engine. The Tata Nexon iCNG will feature Tata’s dual-cylinder technology, as well as an AMT, as per certain reports.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Following the launch of the fourth generation Maruti Suzuki Swift, MSIL is expected to launch the updated Maruti Suzuki Dzire either next month or by October 2024. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire will share the same 1.2-litre Z series three-cylinder petrol engine with the new Swift.
