Outline

Hyundai India is going to launch the Creta Electric tomorrow at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo 2025. The carmaker has revealed nearly every little detail about its first made-in-India electric SUV, save for the price of course. As we have complete details about the Hyundai Creta Electric features list, we thought of putting its spec sheet right up against that of its ICE counterparts to find out the top features the Creta Electric offers over the Creta petrol or diesel.

Front charging port

As obvious as it gets, the Hyundai Creta Electric gets a front charging port that supports both AC and DC fast charging. Like other EVs, the Creta Electric also offers a charging indicator communicating the level of charge.

Low-rolling resistance tyres

The claimed driving range of the Hyundai Creta Electric may not be groundbreaking but its low-rolling resistance tyres help immensely to achieve claimed figures. The EV spec tyres use special rubber compound along with reinforced sidewall to comply with the additional weight.

Active air flaps

In addition to the low-rolling resistance tyres, the Creta Electric also features active air flaps that open and close depending on the driving condition and either channel air to cool the propulsion system or reduce drag.

Rain-sensing wipers

The Hyundai Creta Electric offers rain sensing wipers, which were surprisingly missing in the Creta petrol and diesel for all this while.

The Creta Electric offers a new steering wheel without the Hyundai logo. In place of the brand logo, the steering wheel boasts 4 dots, which translate to “H” in morse code. Furthermore, the steering column also features the gear selector, just like in the case of the Ioniq 5.

Memory seat for the driver

A few of the next features in line are straight carried over from Creta’s larger sibling—the Alcazar. While the Creta petrol and diesel already offer powered driver’s seat, the Creta Electric adds a memory function too, enabling the driver to pre-program the seating position.

Powered passenger seat with boss mode

The next feature is the powered passenger seat, that’s not offered in the standard Creta. Furthermore, the co-passenger seat of the Creta Electric also offers electric boss mode, enabling the rear passenger to adjust the co-passenger seat with a touch of a button. Another small feature is rear tray tables, which are also carried over from the Alcazar.

3-pin home socket
