The Ertiga has been India’s most selling 7-seater car for quite a while now, clocking 100,302 units of sales over the past six months. Its badge-engineered version, the Toyota Rumion, gathered another 11,272 units during this period, taking the cumulative count above close to 1.1 lakh units. The Maruti Ertiga has emerged as the go-to MPV for cabbies, as well as for private users.

Mahindra Scorpio
The most selling Mahindra car in India also happens to be the second-most selling 7-seater car in India. Mahindra has sold 82,163 units of the Scorpio over the last 6 months. This figure includes the sale of both the Mahindra Scorpio Classic as well as the Mahindra Scorpio-N.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco is available in multiple configurations, one of which is a 7-seater MPV. 68,193 units of the Maruti Eeco have been sold over the last 6 months, making it the third best-selling 7-seater car in India.

Toyota Innova
It’s no surprise that the Toyota Innova has made it to the list, as it has been the default choice for a large number of people who are looking for a 6 or 7 seater car in India. Toyota sold a combined 54,449 units of the Innova Crysta and the Innova Hycross over the last 6 months.

Mahindra XUV700
It’s shocking for us to see the Mahindra XUV700 making to the list of top best-selling 7 seater cars and managing to beat the crowd-favourite Bolero. Mahindra sold 47,793 units of the XUV700 in the last six months whereas the Bolero, which includes both the Bolero and Bolero Neo, managed 46,844 units.
