Expected Price: Rs. 15-20 lakh

 

Undoubtedly, one of the most-awaited car launches of this year is the Curvv EV. Based on the Curvv concept, the Curvv EV will debut in India by September this year and will be underpinned by the new Acti.ev platform. While more details are to be known, the Tata Curvv EV range is likely to be between 400-500 km (claimed). Its unique sloping roof coupe design and strong build quality are a few of the key highlights that make the Curvv one of the talked about electric cars. Once launched, the new Curvv EV will take on rivals like the MG ZS EV and the upcoming Creta EV.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Expected Launch: December 2024
Expected Price: Rs. 20-25 lakh

 

Likely to become the first-ever electric Maruti Suzuki car in India, the eVX will reportedly launch by the end of this year. It is going to be based on a brand-new electric platform that is bigger than the Grand Vitara. This muscular EV will get a traditional SUV design with a practical 5-passenger occupancy. the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX be produced at the Gujarat-based production facility of Maruti Suzuki and is expected to have a 500 km of range on a full charge.

Tata Harrier EV

Expected Launch: November 2025 
Expected Price: Rs. 30 lakh

 

While the official launch timeline is yet to be shared, the new Tata Harrier EV launch in India is scheduled for FY2025. Although it might look identical to the ICE version, a lot will be different. For starters, it will get an Acti.ev platform with a standard RWD configuration. A few spy shots also showcase that it’ll get an AWD configuration as well. For those wondering, the Tata Harrier EV range is likely to be over 500 km on a single charge.

Mahindra XUV Electric (XUV.e8)

Expected Launch: October 2024
Expected Price: Rs. 30 lakh

 

When everyone is going to the EV party, how could Mahindra miss it? Yes, Mahindra has an extensive electric SUV range that’ll launch in the next few months. However, this EV spree will start with the XUV.e8 which is essentially an electric version of the XUV700. While not much is known about it, the Mahindra XUV.e8 EV will share its platform with the XUV700 and possibly get a range between 450-550 km. It’ll also get a refreshed design along with an updated cabin.

Kia EV9

Expected Launch: December 2024

Expected Price: Rs. 80 lakh - 1 crore

 

Kia India is also working on multiple new products including a new SUV called the Clavis. However, it is the Kia EV9 which is one of the most talked about upcoming Kia electric cars in India. This three-row luxury MPV is essentially an electric avatar of the Carnival MPV but with extensive updates. It will debut in India by the end of this year and it is likely to get more than 8 seater option as well. Consider it full of latest tech including all-electric seats, massaging seats, individual entertainment packages, and more. It’ll get a real-world driving range of 541 km per charge.
