Maruti Suzuki Brezza - 19,190 units

A starting price of just Rs 8.34 lakh and availability of multiple powertrain options along with a practical and spacious cabin serves as a perfect recipe for the Brezza to become a hot-selling product in a segment already dominated by products like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra 3XO and the Kia Sonet. With a reported sales of 19,190 units in August 2024, the Brezza was not only the best selling SUV in India but also the highest selling Maruti car last month. 

Hyundai Creta - 16,762 units

Leading the sales chart for the brand since a very long time now, the Hyundai Creta yet again reclaims its spot as the best selling Hyundai car in India with a total sales of 16,732 units in August 2024. An affordable base variant along with feature-rich top trims make the Creta a great choice for most SUV buyers looking for a practical and reliable mid-size SUV with premium interiors. Mahindra Scorpio - 13,787 units

This represents a notable increase from 12,237 units in July and a significant jump from 9,898 units a year ago, reflecting a 39% year-on-year growth.
