Top 10 best selling cars in India in November 2024 — Blockbuster Baleno

Maruti cars in India have been consistently ranking amongst the top spots of the best selling cars in India. This trend was seen to hold true for the month of November 2024 as well, with six out of the most selling cars in India being Maruti Suzukis, while the other four included two Tata cars, one Hyundai (we already know which one), and a Mahindra. Here’s a list of the top 10 best selling cars in India in November 2024.

Maruti Baleno

The Baleno stood out as the top selling car in India in November 2024, with a total of 16,293 units sold. The Baleno is an all-rounder hatchback, which comes equipped with Suzuki’s reliable 1.2-litre four cylinder petrol engine that can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.

Hyundai Creta

Who would have guessed that the only Hyundai car in India to make it to this list would be the Creta? Selling 15,452 units across the country last month, the Hyundai Creta became the best selling SUV in India in November 2024. It is undoubtedly the benchmark in its segment, and that clearly reflects in the sales numbers. 

Tata Punch

Not a long time back, the Punch was on top of this list, but it has now been pushed to the third spot. Tata Motors sold 15,435 Punches last month, making it the best selling Tata car in India. This also includes the Tata Punch EV sales numbers.

Tata Nexon

The Tata Nexon ranked just behind the Punch, selling a respectable 15,329 units in November 2024. The Nexon is available in a choice of fuel options including petrol, diesel, CNG, and electric. It is much ahead of its competition both in terms of sales as well as choices.

Maruti Ertiga

Maruti Ertiga has consistently been the best selling MPV in India, and it also ranked amongst the top top 5 best selling cars in India in November 2024. Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 15,150 Ertigas last month. Reportedly, the upcoming new generation Maruti Ertiga has been spotted testing at the Maruti Suzuki R&D centre in Rohtak, and is expected to be launched in India sometime next year.

Maruti Brezza

The Maruti Brezza, perhaps the most sorted car in its segment, secured the sixth spot in the list of best selling cars in India in November 2024. MSIL sold 14,918 units of the Brezza in the said month. The Brezza is also due for a facelift next year, which Maruti hasn’t commented on yet.

Maruti Fronx

Maruti Swift

The Maruti Suzuki Swift had to be on this list, with Maruti selling 14,737 units of this hatch’ in November 2024. The Swift underwent a generational update this year, with a brand new engine, refreshed styling, a redesigned interior, and added features, making it an even more appealing package.\

Maruti Wagon R

The Wagon R seems to keep on selling in the thousands, with 13,982 units sold in November 2024. Maruti Suzuki is celebrating 25 years of sales of the Wagon R in India this year, marking a significant moment in the whole of the Indian automotive industry.

Mahindra Scorpio

The Mahindra Scorpio also made it to this list, selling a handsome 12,704 units last month. This includes the sales of both the Mahindra Scorpio N and the Mahindra Scorpio Classic. Interestingly, Mahindra sells more diesel Scorpios than petrol ones, as per sources.
