With a total sales of 19,190 units in August 2024, the Maruti Brezza SUV is back on the first spot and is giving tough competition to most compact SUVs in the market like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet and the recently launched Mahindra 3XO. For those wondering, the Maruti Brezza price in India starts from Rs 8.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant while the CNG versions are priced from Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Maruti Ertiga

The Maruti Ertiga has surprised everyone with a total sales of 18,580 units in August 2024 and has secured an easy second spot. Known for its spacious interior, fuel efficiency, and competitive pricing, the Ertiga continues to cater to large families and fleet operators alike. 

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta too continues to dominate the SUV segment and sits comfortably on the third spot with a total sales of 16,782 units. Although its sales saw a slight dip compared to July, the Creta is appreciated for its balanced offering of attractive styling, premium features, and multiple powertrain options. Maruti Suzuki Fronx

Ninth on the list is the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, which with a total sales of 12,387 units in August 2024, has been one of the most practical and sorted Maruti cars under Rs 10 lakh.
