2024 Tata Tiago EV

The Tiago EV is an electric version of Tata’s popular hatchback, the Tata Tiago. It is available in five trims and two battery+motor configurations. With prices starting from Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it is one of the most affordable electric vehicles in India as of today.

Tata launched the Tiago EV back in September 2022, and it has so far garnered over 50,000 units of sales for the brand. The first 10,000 units of these were sold in just four months. It goes against the likes of other similar cars such as the Citroen eC3, MG Comet EV, and MG Windsor EV.

Tiago battery, motors, and range

The Tata Tiago EV comes in two configurations for the powertrain — Medium Range or MR, and Long Range or LR. The battery capacity, motor outputs, and claimed range of both these configurations are specified in the table below.

Tata Tiago EV price in India
