Tata Punch variants updated, two trims removed

Tata Motors has recently updated the lineup of Punch variants, removing the Adventure and Adventure Rhythm trims from their official website. Although there's no official announcement from the automaker, this change suggests these variants might be discontinued. Now, the Punch lineup includes eight trims: Pure, Pure (O), Adventure S, Adventure+ S, Accomplished+, Accomplished+ S, Creative+, and Creative+ S. Updated Tata Punch prices and variants list

The Tata Punch Adventure variant comes with three powertrain options: Petrol MT priced at Rs 7 lakh, and Petrol AMT at Rs 7.60 lakh. The CNG MT option for this variant is available at Rs 7.95 lakh. Meanwhile, the Tata Punch Adventure Rhythm variant offers the Petrol 5MT at Rs 7.35 lakh, the Petrol AMT at Rs 7.95 lakh, and the CNG 5MT engine priced at Rs 8.30 lakh.

This trimming of variants might disappoint customers looking to purchase this model. With the recent update, those interested in the petrol AMT variant will now find prices starting at Rs 8.20 lakh, rather than Rs 7.60 lakh. The same applies to other powertrain options, where buyers seeking mid-range variants may feel let down by these changes.

Tata Punch engine specs

The Tata Punch features a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that delivers 88PS and 115Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). In contrast, the iCNG variant of this model offers a powertrain that generates 73.5PS and 103Nm, available exclusively with a manual transmission.
