Engine specifications

The Tata Nexon is available with three engine options: a 1.2L turbo petrol engine, a 1.5L diesel engine, and a CNG option that uses the same 1.2L turbo petrol engine. For the turbo petrol engine, buyers can choose from four gearbox options: a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The diesel engine comes paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT options. Lastly, the CNG variant is exclusively available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
