Tata Harrier.EV spotted ahead of launch
The test car was captured wearing temporary registration plates but the enclosed front grille and alloy wheels confirm that it’s indeed the Harrier.EV. Tata Harrier.EV interior and features
While Tata Motors didn’t showcase the interior of the Harrier.EV at the auto expo, we did manage to have a sneak peek through the windows of the SUV, which revealed a similar dashboard layout to the diesel counterpart. The centre part of the dashboard is taken by a freestanding 12.3-inch infotainment display that should come packed with loads of features including Tata’s Arcade.EV—a dedicated app store for the infotainment system.
Speaking of other features, the list should include a digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless smartphone charging, front ventilated seats, dual-zone AC, panoramic sunroof, powered driver and co-passenger seat, powered boss mode, ambient lighting, Level-2 ADAS features, auto self park functionality and more.

Tata Harrier.EV powertrain specifications
Tata has said that the Harrier EV shall be available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The specifications of the single-motor configuration are yet to be disclosed, but the dual-motor AWD version will get a peak torque output of 500Nm. While the battery specifications of the SUV are still under the wraps, we know that the Harrier EV will offer a driving range upwards of 500km on a single charge and it will also support DC fast charging.

Tata Harrier.EV launch timeline
Tata Motors has not officially announced the Harrier.EV launch timeline. However, an investor meeting that took place a couple of months ago revealed Tata’s future models launch plan, revealing the Harrier.EV launch timeline as March 2025. Given the model now running on the roads without any camouflage, we expect the Harrier.EV launch to take place in the coming months, as early as March 2025.
