The Tata Harrier EV is one of the most talked about upcoming electric cars in India and is expected to debut in the ongoing financial year that ends on March 31, 2025. As per the latest confirmations that come as part of Tata’s latest investor day presentations, the new Harrier EV is one of the two upcoming Tata electric cars in India this year and will take on rivals like the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8. Tata Harrier EV Launch In FY2025

 

Based on Tata’s new Acti.EV architecture that underpins the Punch EV and the upcoming Tata Curvv EV, the new Tata Harrier EV will boast a heavily re-engineered version of the Land Rover-derived Omega platform to support the all new electric powertrain. This new upcoming Tata electric SUV in India will get a number of cosmetic updates to distinguish it from the standard ICE variants. Inside too, the new Harrier EV is likely to get some major revisions including a revised dashboard layout, new colour scheme and better features.

Tata Harrier EV Range And Battery Pack

 

While the official details are still awaited, the claimed Tata Harrier EV range is likely to be over 500km and will be offered with a 60kWh battery pack. This 60kWh battery pack is likely to power a dual-motor-setup with all-wheel-drive system, details of which are yet to be known. Other than this, the new Tata Harrier EV will also get features like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging.

The new Tata Harrier EV price in India is likely to start from Rs 30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant. Once launched, the new Harrier EV will challenge the rivals like the upcoming Mahindra XUV.e8, Hyundai Creta EV, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
