Amid the struggling domestic sales, the carmaker has gained a huge jump in sales percentage in its international business. Dispatching 376 units in exports may sound peanuts compared to the rivals but with a YoY percentage increase 596%, the carmaker is surely heading into the right direction. Needless to say, Tata Motors has to go a long way to build a substantial presence in the international markets.

EV sales continue to plummet

Amid new launches from MG, Mahindra and Hyundai, Tata Motors has been witnessing a massive slump in EV sales year on year. In January 2025, the carmaker registered a 25% YoY decrease in EV sales and in the month of February 2025, the EV sales saw a YoY decrease of 23% in EV sales. Tata Motors dispatched 5,343 EVs in February 2025 whereas in the same month last year, the dispatches stood at 6,923 units.
