Tata Curvv Real-Life Images Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Tata Motors unveiled the Curvv EV and ICE on July 19, 2024 but the cars showcased were hard-form models. However, the new images have surfaced online, showcasing the Tata Curvv real-life look ahead of its launch. While it's the Curvv EV that will be launching before the ICE, the first real-life images showcase the Curvv ICE model.

Tata Curvv Real-Life Images Leaked

The first leaked images reveal the Curvv ICE in its production form. The design details are similar to the ones showcased at the unveiling on July 19. Its key design elements include a connected LED light bar upfront, LED headlights, split radiator grille, air curtains, front camera and sensors. Around the side, the Curvv features squared-off wheel arches with gloss black cladding, flush-fit door handles and a tapering roof line. At the back, the production-spec model features shark-fin antenna, integrated roof spoiler and a connected LED light bar.

The interior images of the Curvv are yet to be revealed and the same is yet to be revealed in the leaked images too. However, looking at the previous images of both concept and pre-production models, the Curvv will share its interior layout and features with the larger Tata SUVs like the Harrier and Safari. Its key features could include a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, a multifunction steering wheel with illuminated logo and auto climate control with capacitive controls.

Tata Curvv ICE Launch After EV

Tata has officially revealed its plan to launch the Curvv EV before its ICE counterparts. However, the images surfaced online are of the Curvv ICE, hinting towards an imminent launch for the Curvv ICE. The launch of the Curvv EV will take place on August 7, 2024, followed by the launch of the Curvv ICE later. Since the Curvv ICE has already started to appear on roads in its production form, we do not expect a large gap between the launch of Curvv EV and Curvv ICE.

Tata Curvv ICE Powertrain Options

As previously reported by us, the coupe SUV will be launched in both petrol and diesel configurations. The petrol variants are likely to get a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, while the diesel variants are expected to be offered with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine from the Tata Nexon. While the diesel engine is likely to be carried as is, the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine is said to be all new, pumping out 125PS of power and 225Nm of torque.
