Tata Curvv Launch Date Confirmed - Check All Details

After much anticipation and predictions, Tata Curvv launch date in India has finally been announced by Tata Motors. The Tata Curvv coupe SUV is set to launch in India on the 7th of August, 2024. This comes after Tata recently teased the Curvv on its official Youtube channel and on its social media handles. Check out what all you can expect from the Tata Curvv.

What Is It?

The Tata Curvv is Tata’s upcoming electric car, which is styled to look like a coupe and has the stance of an SUV, similar to the Citroen Basalt and the Ford Capri EV. It will be Tata’s fifth electric vehicle in the Indian market, and the second to be built on the acti.ev platform, following the Tata Punch EV.

Tata Curvv India Launch Date

The Tata Curvv is here sooner than we expected it to be. It will be launched on 7th August, 2024. Tata will initially launch the Curvv in an EV configuration, but the ICE-powered Tata Curvv will also be launched at a later stage. It’ll be easy to differentiate the Tata Curvv from the rest of the crowd as it will be the first coupe-SUV in India from a mass manufacturer.

Tata Curvv Powertrain Options

As we mentioned above, the Indian carmaker will be launching the new Curvv EV before the ICE Tata Curvv. On the contrary, while we wait for the specifications of the electric powertrain, the ICE-powered Tata Curvv will likely be offered with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and even a 1.5-litre diesel engine, which is also offered on the Tata Nexon. Customers will get to choose from both, manual and automatic transmissions. The brand might also introduce a couple of Tata Curvv CNG variants for those looking for an affordable-to-run SUV. 

Expected Price And Other Features

From what we know so far, the Tata Curvv EV price is expected to start somewhere around Rs 18-20 Lakh, while that of the ICE versions should start somewhere around Rs 13-15 Lakh. The Tata Curvv is expected to get 360-degree cameras, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, Level-2 ADAS and a wireless phone charger.
