Tata Curvv ICE Launch After Curvv EV - What’s Common; What’s Not?

It’s not just the Tata Curvv EV that has been unveiled by Tata Motors. Tata has also unveiled the Tata Curvv ICE, along with its electric counterpart. What’s common among the two? And what’s different? Based on whatever limited details that Tata Motors has shown us, we have listed all that we could for you.

ICE Tata Curvv Design

We’ll just be talking about the exterior here, as that is what Tata has decided to show us. The ICE Tata Curvv has an altered front end design. While the panels remain indistinguishable, the ICE Curvv has a functional grille at the front to assist in cooling the engine and other components under the hood. There are more openings down the front side, adding to the function. There’s a web-like structure with (what looks like) chrome inserts. The alloy wheels on both the versions have distinct designs, and the ones on the ICE Curvv look prettier than those on the Curvv EV. Rest of the exterior looks identical to the Tata Curvv EV.

Tata Curvv Engine Options

As previously reported by us, the coupe SUV will be launched in both petrol and diesel configurations. The petrol variants are likely to get a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, while the diesel variants are expected to be offered with the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine from the Tata Nexon. 

ICE Tata Curvv Launch Date And Expected Price

While the exact ICE Tata Curvv launch date remains to be unknown, it is certain that it will take place after the launch of the Tata Curvv EV. The Curvv EV is launching on August 7, 2024. We expect the ICE Tata Curvv price to start from Rs 13-15 Lakh, while the Tata Curvv EV price on the other hand is expected to start from Rs 18-20 Lakh.
