Tata Curvv EV Waiting Period — How Soon Can You Get Yourself One?

If there’s one car that was highly anticipated apart from the new Mahindra Thar ROXX, it is undoubtedly the Tata Curvv.ev. With deliveries commencing tomorrow, the Curvv.ev is finally set to hit Indian roads. How soon can you get yourself a brand new Tata Curvv EV, if you decide to book one in the near future? Tata Curvv EV - What Is It?

Tata Curvv.ev is Tata’s recently launched all-electric coupe SUV that was launched earlier this month. Based on the electric-only acti.ev architecture, it is Tata’s fastest EV yet, reaching triple digit speeds in 8.6 seconds. It comes with a 167PS electric motor, which can be paired to either a 45kWh battery pack that has a claimed MIDC range of 502km or a 55kWh battery pack that has a claimed MIDC range of 585km.

Tata Curvv EV Waiting Period

As per our dealer sources, the waiting period for the entry-level variants is around two months, while that for the variants with the larger 55kWh battery pack is around six weeks. Customers who had already booked the Curvv.ev initially will start getting deliveries from tomorrow.

Tata Curvv EV Variants & Colour Options

The Tata Curvv.ev is currently being offered in a total of seven variants, three with the 45kWh battery pack and four with the 55kWh battery pack. Curvv EV colour options include five exterior colours — Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, Pristine White, Flame Red and Virtual Sunrise, and three dual-tone interior themes.

Tata Curvv EV Price In India

The Tata Curvv.ev has been launched at an introductory price of Rs 17.49 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the base 45kWh Creative variant, which goes up till Rs 21.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully-loaded 55kWh Empowered +A variant. Here are the variant-wise prices:

Tata Curvv ICE Launch

The ICE variants of the Tata Curvv will be launched on September 2, 2024. The Curvv ICE will get three engine options —  a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with direct injection, a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. All the three engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Tata Curvv ICE price is expected to begin somewhere around Rs 12 lakh.
